Bringing Esports to SC Schools
The Carolina Esports Association is a subsidiary of the Midlands Gaming Coalition focused on delivering an outstanding league for all Schools in the area. With our expertise in Esports, we’ve developed a curriculum that we believe will enhance not only the student E-Athlete experience but also develop every day skills from communication to strategic thinking for the students while they play. We view gaming as the doorway to reach youth where they are and connect them with their communities while doing something they love.
We also believe the focus on in-person play elevates the player and provides something that is lacking in today’s esports climate here in South Carolina. The leagues that are all online cannot deliver the same learning experience that face-to-face competition can provide. That is why we have structured ourselves to connect all schools in the area and treat esports as a traditional sport for the first time in the history of South Carolina.
