As South Carolina’s first 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to video games and esports, Midlands Gaming Coalition is committed to creating a fun, safe, and inclusive space where communities can come together through the power of gaming.

About Midlands Gaming Coalition
At Midlands Gaming Coalition, we’re more than just an organization—we’re a movement dedicated to building a thriving gaming and esports community in South Carolina.
Since October 2018, we have been hosting high-energy gaming events and tournaments across Richland, Lexington, and Sumter counties, with big plans to expand throughout the Midlands. Our mission is to create opportunities for players of all ages to develop essential skills like teamwork, communication, and strategic thinking, all while enjoying the games they love.
Growing Esports in South Carolina
We are actively working to bring a Scholastic Esports Program to South Carolina, leveraging research from the North American Scholastic Esports Federation (NASEF). Our goal is to provide students with structured, educational esports experiences that help them grow both in and out of the game. More details coming soon—stay tuned!
